Great-grandson of Sir John Squire, joint founder of The Architecture Club, and son of Michael Squire, founder of Squire & Partners, Henry joined the practice in 1997 after graduating from the Royal College of Art.
The award-winning practice has an international reputation for design informed by the history and culture of its location, and its portfolio, for some of the world’s leading developers, includes masterplans, workspace, retrofit, residential, hotels, retail, education and public buildings.
Having completed a number of high-profile London developments at the practice, Henry became a Partner in 2005 and today leads a strong team of architects and designers on a huge range of projects in the UK and internationally.
Henry’s experience spans urban masterplans to individual homes, sensitive refurbishments to contemporary new buildings and affordable housing to high-end international developments. He has led on the design of 20 Grosvenor Square and Chelsea Barracks in London, Trinity Place in St Petersburg, Msheireb Heart of Doha development in Qatar and a 6km Linear Park in Abu Dhabi.
